Cole Inniss is a UX Designer based in Rochester, New York. His work combines qualitative research, interaction, accessible and inclusive design. He has interned at Intuit as an Accessibility Product Designer. Where he audited Intuit's products for Keyboard Accessibility and created documents containing best practices for multiple interactive components. The documents are now implemented onto Intuit's Design System to be used throughout the company. Before Intuit, he interned at Fidelity Investments as an Inclusive User Experience Design Researcher. He explored how the company could utilize inclusive design in Fin-Tech. He has conducted user interviews and developed wireframes to the initial concept. The concept was made for those who are not financially savvy to make long-term financial decisions. All these experiences reframed his perspective to how significant accessibility and inclusivity is for the digital landscape.
Cole is an undergraduate at RIT, expected to graduate in Spring of 2021. He has a passion for learning and understanding people. Often times he is trying his best to spread happiness and kindness to others. He believes spreading kindness without transaction is essential to understanding the impact of accessibility and inclusivity have on others.
